When to upgrade Town Hall
Use the rush score and hero-down panel before tapping that TH button.
Rushing isn’t always wrong - but upgrading TH without a plan burns war strength and slows real progress. ClashCookie shows offense vs. defense progress so you can see if you’re rushing.
Green lights
Heroes and key troops are close to max for your current TH (check offense % on the overview).
You have enough loot banked or a farming plan (loot planner) for new buildings + lab backlog.
Clan wars or CWL aren’t in the next 48h - or heroes finish before battle day (hero-down panel).
Yellow / red flags
Queen or King still multiple levels behind - you’ll enter the next TH with weak attacks.
Builders still busy on high-value defenses you’ll outlevel immediately.
Lab queue is empty but troops aren’t maxed - you’ll sit idle at the new TH.
