Terms of Service

These terms cover both ClashCookie surfaces: the website at clashcookie.com and the ClashCookie Discord bot. By using either, you agree to what’s below.

What ClashCookie is

ClashCookie is a free, independent, fan-made companion for Clash of Clans. It reads public game data from Supercell’s official Clash of Clans API and presents it, plus tools like linking, upgrade tracking, leaderboards, and clan management for Discord servers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or specifically approved by Supercell, and Supercell is not responsible for it.

Free & non-commercial

ClashCookie is free. We never charge a fee for access to any feature of the website or the bot, and nothing is placed behind a paywall. The project is funded only by means permitted under Supercell’s Fan Content Policy, such as advertising or voluntary support. A Supercell Creator Code, where shown, is entirely optional and costs you nothing.

Acceptable use

When using the website or the bot, please don’t:

  • scrape or automate access beyond reasonable personal use, or try to overload the site, the bot, or their APIs;
  • republish our indexed rankings or leaderboards as your own work;
  • use the moderation, linking, or role features to harass others or to impersonate someone;
  • attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or the Clash of Clans API terms; or
  • use ClashCookie for anything unlawful, or in any way that breaches Discord’s or Supercell’s terms.

Accounts, servers, or players that abuse the service may be rate-limited, suspended, or blocked, and the bot may be removed from a server that misuses it.

Account linking

Linking or claiming an in-game account is optional. A verifiedclaim requires the one-time API token you generate inside Clash of Clans, so you can only verify accounts you actually control. Don’t claim accounts that aren’t yours. You can remove a link at any time with /unclaim or /unlink, or from Account settings on the website.

Provided “as is”

ClashCookie is provided free and “as is,” with no warranty and no guarantee of uptime or that game data is always accurate or current - it depends on Supercell’s API and, at times, third-party mirrors, which can lag or be briefly unavailable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClashCookie is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or the bot - including anything based on game data shown, on roles or nicknames the bot sets, or on downtime. Features may change, move, or be discontinued at any time as the project evolves.

Trademarks & ownership

Clash of Clans, Supercell, and all related names, logos, characters, and assets are trademarks or registered trademarks of Supercell Oy. Game assets are used only to display, identify, and discuss the game, as permitted by the Fan Content Policy. All other content and code of ClashCookie belongs to its makers.
